OARS partnered with the Town of Acton for a successful community water chestnut pull at Ice House Landing on September 28, 2024, as part of our Annual 3 Rivers Cleanup. ActonTV covered the event, which featured interviews with OARS’ Ecological Restoration Coordinator Heather Conkerton, OARS’ Community Engagement Coordinator—TerraCorps Service Member Isabel Ryen, and Ian Bergmann, the Town of Acton’s Community Conservation Specialist.
