The Noisy Puddle Reading with Dr. Linda Booth Sweeney

APRIL 23, 2026
Haute Coffee, 3:00-4:30pm
12 Walden St, Concord, MA
In partnership with the Concord Land Conservation Trust (CLCT), this family-focused event includes a reading of the children’s book The Noisy Puddle by author, Dr. Linda Booth Sweeney, followed by a short presentation about vernal pools by the CLCT.
Haute Coffee provides a setting for parents and caretakers to connect over coffee while their children are engaged in learning about the science and wonders of vernal pools.
This event marks the start of a 3-day, town-wide, scavenger hunt-bingo game inspired by Dr. Sweeney’s book, featuring species that live in vernal pools. Search for images placed in 16 local businesses and buildings in Concord Center and complete your bingo board to be entered in an exciting prize drawing.
This event is open to the public, no registration required!
