The Noisy Puddle Bingo

APRIL 23-25, 2026
CONCORD CENTER
Join in on this 3-day, cross-town bingo game and learn more about fascinating vernal pool species. Pick up a game board at local sites and hunt for image icons of critters from The Noisy Puddle, written by Linda Booth Sweeney and illustrated by Miki Sato, around Concord Center. Local businesses will have these icons inside or in their windows, where you can check off a new animal on your bingo card. Return your completed card to be entered in a drawing for signed copies of Linda’s books and a private, guided, family-friendly walk to learn more about a vernal pool up close with the Concord Land Conservation Trust.
HOW TO PLAY CONCORD’S VERNAL POOL BINGO
- Pick up a double-sided bingo board at Concord Bookshop or Concord Visitor Center. There are three different bingo boards, so friends and siblings can play together.
- Visit participating stores and community locations. Look for the vernal pool species sign displayed in the window or inside. Check out this HINTS page to help you out!
- When you find a species, get a stamp on your board!
- Get BINGO! You can complete a row of 5 across, down, or diagonal for a prize entry OR fill out the full board to be entered to win an extra special prize drawing.
- Turn in your completed board to be entered in the prize drawings: return to your pickup location and drop off your board at the box marked “Completed Vernal Pool Bingo,” or submit a photo to office@oars3rivers.org and bring your beautiful bingo card home with you!
Don’t forget: Add your contact information to your Bingo board before you turn it in so we can contact prize winners!
