Executive director Matt Brown and other OARS representatives will tell the story of the organization’s work to improve water quality in Maynard’s Assabet River. In an ongoing effort, OARS citizen scientists are monitoring bacterial pollution in Maynard, collecting data, and collaborating with the town DPW and Conservation Commission to identify and ultimately clean up sources of river pollution. So, how is the water quality of the Assabet in Maynard? How many sources of pollution are there?
