Join us and paddle the scenic Assabet River! If you’re interested in river recreation, environmental stewardship and exploring the outdoors, these FREE community paddles are for you! We will be hosting engaging, educational paddles in Maynard. These paddles are beginner friendly and will be approximately 2 hours long. Everyone is welcome! Don’t miss this opportunity to spot wildlife, learn more about our watershed, and spend some time outside! Paddlers between the ages of 10 & 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. Please be sure to wear activewear that can get wet.

OARS seeks an Executive Director to lead one of Massachusetts’ most respected watershed organizations at a pivotal moment for river health, climate resilience, and environmental equity. With a strong foundation of science, partnerships, and community trust, OARS is well-positioned to expand its impact in the coming decade.
