Fishing Class for Kids!
Sunday, June 20 from 9 - 10:30 am.

Would your kids like to learn how to fish? OARS will run a fishing class for children ages 6-13 years old on the banks of Nashoba Brook in West Concord.
Space is limited. Preregistration here by June 18 is required. Questions: call 978-369-3956 or email OARS

Start: 06/20/2021 10:00 am

Celebrate our Wild and Scenic Rivers on a 30+ mile (~3 hours with a stop for ice cream) bike ride with Nashoba Valley Pedalers and OARS.

The ride will include multiple river crossings of the Assabet, Concord and Sudbury rivers, with occasional stops for re-grouping and brief descriptions of the rivers we're celebrating. We will pass through parts of three different watersheds, all crucial to our local fresh water supply, river recreation, farms, and orchards.

Start time: 10 am prompt. A forecast of steady rain will cancel this event. If in doubt, call or email Mike by 8 am.

Come to the riverbank by foot, or paddle, bring a picnic, and enjoy an afternoon of entertainment at the historic Old Manse (269 Monument Street, Concord).
