PARTNER EVENT—Pull-a-Palooza

COMMUNITY WATER CHESTNUT PULL

WHEN

Wednesday, July, 23rd, 2025

9:00AM to Noon

WHERE

313 Heath’s Bridge Road
Concord, MA 01742

Concord Land Conservation Trust has been working to remove invasive water chestnut from the Sudbury River for over 20 years. This summer, we’ve teamed up with Concord’s Conantum community to run weekly removal efforts in the stretch of river between Fairhaven Bay and Heath’s Bridge (Sudbury Road).

Now, we’re inviting you to help give these efforts an extra boost during a special pull event!

As a thank-you for your help and hard work, we’ll provide tasty refreshments, and every participant will receive a free native plant grown from local seed by the Land Trust’s staff—a small gift for helping to make a big impact!

Using your watercraft, life jacket (PFD), and having a laundry basket or bin is strongly encouraged; the Land Trust has the capacity to provide 11 participants with equipment (first come, first served).
