Water Wise Workshop—Maynard

We hope you can join us on Tuesday, August 6, from 3–5 PM at Ice House Landing (off Winter Street) for an enriching and educational experience on our very own Assabet River! Sprouts—Green Maynard’s new family-friendly, kid-focused environmental group—is partnering with OARS to offer one of their Water Wise Workshops! It’s perfect for kids ages 5–12, and teens are also encouraged to join to learn about facilitating these workshops. These workshops encourage kids to explore their relationship with the environment through demonstrations, hands-on activities, lively discussions, and interactions with plants and wildlife. They offer a fun way to learn about rivers, lakes, and ponds and how to protect them.
