Join the Trustees, OARS and the River Stewardship Council in the orchard at the Old Manse (269 Monument Street, Concord)
Enjoy kids activities, nature crafts and a self-guided nature Hike and Seek. 11am - 1pm
Snakes of New England and the World. See a variety of local snakes close-up, and a few exotic one too. Rick Roth, Director of the Cape Ann Vernal Pond Team, will bring some of his favorites and talk about their lives and habits. 11am - 12pm

Celebrate our Wild and Scenic Rivers on a 30+ mile (expect 3-4 hours with a stop for ice cream at Erickson's in Maynard ) bike ride with Nashoba Valley Pedalers and OARS on roads criss-crossing our Wild and Scenic River, the Assabet, Sudbury and Concord Rivers. | ![]() |

Cap of Riverfest on Sunday by celebrating the arrival of summer with Musketaquid and OARS at The Old Manse (269 Monument Street, Concord).
Come to the riverbank by foot, or paddle, bring a picnic, and enjoy live music in the orchard.
Music by Sawyer Lawson & Greg Blair from 6 - 8 pm.
Add natural materials to Earth Floats and help launch them down the river!

Featuring a presentation by Chad Sumner
Chad is Principal and CEO of SumCo Eco-Contracting, LLC (“SumCo Eco”), a self-performing heavy-site civil construction firm. Founded by Chad and his brother Travis in 2006, the company has completed hundreds of ecological restoration projects across the Northeast, including dam removals and rehabilitations; river, wetlands, and marsh restorations; coastal resiliency and climate adaptation; invasive species management; and more. His work addresses diverse ecological, environmental, and infrastructure challenges posed by climate change.

Located on South Street, in the heart of Hudson’s Historic District, the Hudson Community Fest is an old-fashioned street fair that includes entertainment, a food court, family-friendly activities, and over 120 vendors. Weather permitting, it draws approximately 5000 patrons. The Fest is rain or shine.
