14th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival

OARS is excited to present our 14th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival, Currents of Hope.

On the evening of Wednesday, June 15 a selection of 2022 award-winning films from the nation's largest environmental film festival will be screened at the Maynard Fine Arts Theatre and also streamed to you LIVE in the comfort of your home.

Can't make it? Ticketholders will have access to view the the films on demand for 5 days.

OARS is hiring a Summer Outreach Field Assistant

OARS is seeking a Summer Outreach Field Assistant to help coordinate community volunteer days, assist with educational activities for children, and help with watershed wide events (including walks, paddles, and at festivals). The Outreach Field Assistant will interact with the public to improve management of the rivers, promote the organization and its events, and will assist with publicizing activities.

It's spring! Time to head to our rivers!

For exploration ideas, go to our online Assabet, Sudbury, and Concord River recreation maps! You will find river access points, walking trails, and bike paths.

When boating, you might find some obstructions or other passage problems on your planned trip. If you find new ones, please let us know when and where you found them and send a photo(s) to office@oars3rivers.org.
