It's our 35th Annual River Cleanup! Take part in our cleanup from Friday, September 17th through Sunday, the 19th. Help us remove trash from our rivers and their banks by choosing from a self-guided Team Up Clean Up or joining us on Saturday for our Cleanup Day!

35th Annual River Cleanup
Friday - Sunday, Sept 17 - 19

Team Up Clean Up: Gather family and friends for a walk or paddle in one of your favorite places near the river. Pick up what trash and recycling you can, photograph it showing the location (selfies welcome) and send OARS this information. We need your help to bring your own garbage bags and gloves. Cleanup supply pickup will be available in some areas. Registration required.
Please note: the rivers are very high. Stay safe by working on trails and the banks. Do not enter the water unless you are experienced paddlers and, please, wear your PDF. Thank you!

Cleanup Day: We have had to cancel most of our cleanup sites because of high water. It is hard to see the trash in the deep water and is not safe to walk in many of the areas. A small group will be in Hudson doing shoreline work. And a Team in Westborough will also be cleaning up on land. If you have a favorite trail or place on the shores that you would like to work in, we encourage you to signup for the "Team Up Clean Up" and go with family or friends.
On Saturday, September 18th from 9 am – noon, we are organizing our traditional cleanups where participants can join a team of volunteers to tackle sites needing a larger group effort. A site leader will be present at each site with supplies. The cleanup will be followed by a celebration with pizza.
Registration for participation is required. All Covid restrictions will be followed.

Can't join us - you can still help! Your tax-deductible contribution will help defray the cost of our efforts to restore the health of our three rivers. Donate to our River Cleanup Fund.
