Scientists study the fish on our rivers to better understand how we can protect them. Come watch a fish electro-shocking demonstration by MassWildlife and hear about what they learn from it.

Location: Meet at the footbridge across Nashoba Brook behind Nashoba Brook Bakery in West Concord.
NOTE: this event cannot take place in foggy or rainy conditions because of the equipment.

Please come help move pre-made boardwalk sections from one location to another, joining them into one boardwalk! It will involve carrying and hammering!

Paddle on the Sudbury River from Wayland to Concord (about 6 miles) .
Camp at Scout Island in Fairhaven Bay on Saturday night. Flexible end time on Sunday (TBD by participants). Takeout will be at Lowell Road on Concord River (about 4 miles).

Join us for paddling either day or for camping only (water taxi to campsite will be available).

Meeting time: 10 AM. On Saturday, we will spot cars at Concord Land Conservation Trust's Wright Woods in Concord, a short paddle from the campsite.

10:30 - 11:30 am: Earth Day Parade - NEW START! steps off from The Umbrella to the Old Manse.

11:30 am - noon: River Ceremony with singing, drumming, and the launching of Earth Floats at the Old North Bridge.
